Asian Tiger Population Could Triple by Expanding and Linking Preserves
According to current estimates, only 3,200 tigers remain in the entire world. These few individuals are scattered across 13 countries in Asia, mostly sheltered in protected habitats and reserves. These reserves will have to increase, conservationists say, if tiger range countries will meet their goal of doubling the species’ population by 2022.
If the size of the reserves can be increased—and corridors established between them—researchers believe Asia could support a population of more than 10,000 wild tigers, three times the current population…

For Anonymous who says “esta muy bonito el puma es el animal mas hermoso del mundo”
Yes I agree that  PUMA/COUGAR/MOUNTAIN LIONS (Puma concolor), are among the most beautiful animals in the world. We have them living in the canyon where I live, though I have not been fortunate enough to see one—yet.  © Steve’s Animal Portraits
The cougar holds the Guinness record for the animal with the highest number of names, presumably due to its wide distribution across North and South America. It has over 40 names in English alone.
The cougar is the largest of the small cats.
Studies have indicated that the cougar and jaguarundi are most closely related to the modern cheetah of Africa and western Asia.
Cougars can be almost as large as jaguars, but are less muscular and not as powerful; where their ranges overlap, the cougar tends to be smaller than average.
The cougar is on average as heavy as the leopard.
They are well known for their screams, as referenced in some of their common names, although these screams are often misinterpreted to be the calls of other animals.

GREEN HEADED TANAGER (Tangara seledon,)
The Green-headed Tanager is a bird found in Atlantic forest in south-eastern Brazil, far eastern Paraguay and far north-eastern Argentina (Misiones only).
As other members of the genus Tangara, it is a small colorful bird, measuring an average of 13.5 centimeters (5.3 in).
While essentially a bird of humid forests, it is also common in orchards and parks,  where it moves through the canopy, making itself inconspicuous, as its apparently flashy blue-green coloration camouflages it well amongst the foliage.
It is also a regular attendant at bird tables, where its active behavior makes it far more conspicuous.
Eats fruits and insects, chasing the latter from a perch.
